Tell Your Legislators!

EMI’s global warming project has sponsored several letter-writing campaigns to congress people as well as the president, calling for effective legislation which addresses global warming. We must continue to let our government know that the general public and the faith community are aware, care, and call for aggressive legislation which:

1. promotes energy conservation,

2. funds research for renewable energy,

3. puts limits on "greenhouse gas" emissions, and

4. supports an international policy like the Kyoto Protocol.
