Praying With Creation

These prayers are used with the encouragement and permission of the New Earth Partnership and Congregations Caring for Creation. The prayers are written to follow the church year calendar and intended to be used as the Prayer of the Day and/or the first petition of the Prayer of the People.

We are currently in the process of compiling Praying with Creation prayers for all three Revised Common Lectionary years. Thank you for your patience.

Currently The Revised Common Lectionary is in Year B.

If you would like to write your own prayers, or if you would like to know more about how these prayers were written, you can read the authors' guidelines for prayer composition.
