AV Gonzalez, Paul. Healing the Earth: An Emerging Spirituality. Cincinnati: St. Anthony Messenger Press, 1991.
     This min-course on environmental spirituality and activism was designed by biologist, teacher, futurist and lecturer Paula Gonzalez for individuals, retreat discussion groups or personal growth. The six audiocassette tapes and activity guide provide six hours of listening and four to six hours of active participation.

Jenkins, Christie L. Loving Our Neighbor, the Earth: Creation-Spirituality Activities for 9-11 Year Olds. San Jose: Resource Publications, 1991.
     Practical resources for religious educators contains twenty lessons and activities useful in science classes, religion classes, catechetical sessions or camp activities, addressing such issues as the greenhouse effect, loss of the ozone layer, deforestation, soil erosion and contaminated ground water.

     This dance and religious education resource offers 12 complete choreographies, along with clear explanation of the background behind these specific dance examples, and behind the custom of dancing as it was developed among the Native American and Mexican people of the Southwest.

Longacre, Doris Janzen. Living More with Less. Scottsdale, PA: Herald Press, 1980.
     This book from the Mennonites, and the companion study/action guide of the same name by Delores Histand Friesen (see listing above) offers practical ideas to individuals and groups for evaluating lifestyle choices from a Christian perspective and living more simply and justly in the world.

McCarthy, Scott. Celebrating the Earth: An Earth-Centered Theology of Worship with Blessings, Prayers and Rituals. San Jose: Resource Publications, 1991.
     Formerly Creation Liturgy, this revised and expanded edition explores creation-centered spirituality and offers a variety of rituals, blessings and ecumenical liturgies.

Meyer, Art and Joyce. Earth Keepers: Environmental Perspectives on Hunger, Poverty and Injustice. Scottsdale, PA: Herald Press, 1991.
     The authors examine the root causes of environmental degradation and analyze major concerns of the ecological crisis. Suggestions on how Christians can be contribute to a sustainable society are offered, along with practical questions and lists for study and group discussion.

Montefiore, Hugh. Preaching for Our Planet. London: Mowbray, 1992.
     This collection of sermons by a former bishop of Birmingham (England) offers a wealth of material for thought and preaching about environmental issues, presented in a lively and accessible style.

Peli-can Project.
     This multi-faceted project was developed by the ELCA to help teach elementary-age children about stewardship. Various resources compose this project. The Peli hand puppet, featured to look like the once-endangered brown pelican, can be used in individual classes, groups or family settings to show how children can help take care of God's creation. Also available is a songbook and music cassette called
Creation Celebration, 24 pages of songs about stewardship and care of creation that are especially appealing to children, and Pelican buttons that feature a picture of Peli and the slogan, "I can... like Pelican" These items are available for sale from Augsburg Fortress Publishers.      This 15-minute video offers a general introduction to the environmental crisis and justice in light of Christian faith and the PC (USA) report of the same title to the 202nd General Assembly (1990).      This five-part video curriculum for adults offers material for five to ten sessions and explores five important stewardship concerns, including the environment and justice, and how they are reflected in the Bible and Reformed theology. A complete study guide is included with the video.

AV Wake Up, Dorothy! A Hunger Education Resource.Produced by the Division for Congregational Ministries and the Division for Church and Society of the ELCA, 1992.
     This award-winning video communicates a message about environmental stewardship. The drama takes place in an urban environment and is told in rap-like narration by inner city youth. Video includes user guide with suggested activities and questions for discussion. Appropriate for upper elementary and junior high youth.      Twelve session curriculum for younger children designed to develop appreciation for creation and God as Creator through art, music, storytelling and drama.

     A 25-minute documentary video about a program of the Greenhouse Project in San Francisco which address environmental justice and social justice concerns.
